Michaela Areti Zervou is a final-year Ph.D. Candidate in Computer Science at the University of Crete, Greece. She holds a M.Sc. degree in Computer Science, a M.Sc. degree in Computational and Applied Mathematics, and a B.Sc. in Mathematics from the University of Crete. Her Ph.D. is supported by the Hellenic Foundation for Research & Innovation (HFRI). Since 2017, she is a Postgraduate Research Fellow at the Signal Processing Laboratory (SPL), ICS-FORTH. She brings expertise in machine and deep learning frameworks for multidimensional time series analysis, graph networks, and natural language processing. Her research has impactful applications in the domains of human activity recognition, protein structure prediction and de novo design.
