Dr. Michail Giannoulis received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Clermont Auvergne, France, in 2023, also M.Sc. degree in Computer Science from the University of Crete, Greece, in 2020, and B.Sc. degree in Informatics Engineering from the Technological Educational Institute of Crete, Greece, 2017. Since 2017, he obtained professional experience as research and teaching assistant, while in 2019, during M.Sc. he has been selected for an internship as Data Scientist to SAP, France. Currently, he is associate researcher (postdoc) at the Signal Processing Laboratory at FORTH-ICS. His research focuses on signal processing and machine learning for analysis of scientific data, focusing on the defense in aerial warfare's operational environments. He has co-authored on peer-reviewed conferences and journals, including VLDB, Pattern Recognition and Frontiers in Earth Science, while he has been awarded a best paper award (A meta-level analysis of online anomaly detectors, VLDB).
