TITAN 1st Periodic Report M1-M15, January 2023 – March 2024
WP1 - Project Management
This Work Package (WP) ensures the timely delivery of high quality deliverables through the effective coordination of the two Institutes of FORTH (ICS and IA), robust technical and financial management, and strict Quality Assurance (QA) for all project activities and associated deliverables.
TITAN_D1.1 Project management and quality assurance plan
TITAN_D1.2 Report on MIO’s organization plan
WP2 - Building the ERA Chair R&I Agenda and His New Team
This WP aims to assess and fully evaluate the context for the proposed joint Astroinformatics Program and map the local capacity, skills, and infrastructure to be exploited. It also leverages the expertise of the two involved FORTH Institutes, Computer Science (ICS) and Astrophysics (IA), towards: (i) Mapping the context for the new Program, taking into account the regional and national Smart Specialization Strategies and the local socioeconomic structures, resources, and priorities; (ii) Identifying short and long-term research needs and producing a SWOT analysis for the Program; (iii) Identifying and engaging with local stakeholders in order to test proposed research and innovation priorities, and identify potential partnership and investment opportunities.

WP4 - Research and Educational Activities
This WP will establish a cutting-edge research and an interdisciplinary educational program in Computational Intelligence and Astrophysics, led by the ERA Chair.
TITAN_D4.1 Research and educational activities
WP5 - Innovation Actions
This WP will implement an agenda of innovation activities, linking the Program to industrial players of the Space sector and to the European Space Agency. The interaction between players from academia, industry and government will be supported by the MIO, generating new opportunities for the production, transfer and application of knowledge.
WP6 - Dissemination, Exploitation, and Outreach
This WP aims to effectively disseminate the project activities and results and to ensure the exploitation of its outcomes. The dissemination will be twofold, targeting the scientific community, along with industrial stakeholders, policy makers, and actors interested in innovative technologies.
