Dr. Konstantinos Vassakis is an Assistant Professor in Business Strategy & Innovation at Hellenic Mediterranean University, driven by a profound passion for catalyzing innovation and fostering sustainable entrepreneurship. Having received his PhD from the University of Crete, he is well-versed in data-driven innovation and business strategy. He is co-founder of Bizrupt, a vibrant non-profit dedicated to igniting the entrepreneurial spirit in Crete. By supporting early-stage ventures and fostering building a robust innovation ecosystem, Bizrupt is a catalyst of sustainable entrepreneurship. Through its projects, Bizrupt promotes a sustainable future in which entrepreneurship and innovation come together to address urgent global issues. Through Bizrupt's initiatives, he champions a vision of a sustainable future, where innovation and entrepreneurship intersect to solve pressing global challenges. Therefore, he was awarded the Department of State's IVLP Impact Award in 2022.
