Project hashtag#TwinODIS on the move – a full week in Rotterdam!
Our ICS-FORTH colleagues Christos Tzagkarakis and Stylianos Roumpakis spent an entire week at Erasmus University Rotterdam, meeting teams across campus every day to share expertise and spark new collaborations.
Spotlight on their talks
- Christos – “Intelligent and Trustworthy IoT Systems: Challenges & Solutions in Forecasting, Explainability, and Security.”
Explored accurate time-series forecasting on resource-constrained devices, ways to make AI decisions transparent with XAI, and fresh methods to detect & stop IoT botnets.
- Stelios – “Cloud-Native Technologies for Decision Intelligence Systems.”
Showed how cloud-native stacks let AI + OR models power real-time, resilient decision pipelines—keeping deployments scalable, modular, and continuously learning.
Beyond the sessions, we wrapped up the week with a relaxed social dinner alongside our Erasmus hosts—proving that great ideas flow just as well over good food.
