    Abstract:
In 1253, Robert de Sorbon created the first university in Paris. During Middle age, Paris was the greatest cultural and scientific center in Europe, attracting 20 000 students. Nowadays, among 16 universities in Paris Region, Université Paris Cité assembles 63 000 students, including 3 000 PhDs, and 7500 professors and support staff. How to be an efficient European project Manager in such a big house ? How to comply to European rules when administrative complexity is a rationale in itself ? How to navigate in this maze to become an efficient support to researchers ?
